My Job Workshop slated for Feb. 23,
with annual laity banquet to follow

Join Austin District clergy and laity Feb. 23 at Bethany UMC, 10010 Anderson Mill Road, for an opportunity to train in a number of areas of service and ministry. Workshops run from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with the annual laity celebration and lunch to follow.
Bishop Joel N. Martinez is to be the special guest at the laity celebration and lunch, catered by Pok-E-Jo’s. Martinez is to present his annual Exemplar award to a layperson in the district. Members of district staff are to present other awards. Tickets to the laity banquet will be available at the door.
